2009 Magic Carpet Ride

THANK YOU to ALL our supporters, volunteers and riders for making The Magic Carpet Ride 2009, an incredible success.

The day turned out to be wonderful and the crowd had a great time.

This was the first run that I have ever been involved with (Susie – The Web Designer) and I have to say, the entire ride over the last few months has been fantastic, and the ride itself was too.

The team work involved doesn’t stop, from our road crews, to traffic coordinators, registration and bartenders. It surely takes a team to make an event. We couldn’t have gotten it done with out all the support in place, and we wouldn’t have had as much success without all you riders that came out.

Carpets 4 U founder Tim Adkins is in charge of Children of Fallen Riders, an organization that helps families and children of fallen motorcycle riders. Banding together, bikers always assist in many fund raising efforts for good causes such as Cancer and Leukemia; it was and remains Tim’s goal to help out those that have helped others in the past.

Children of Fallen Riders were formed when Tim lost a close friend in a motorcycle accident.
